Projecto CTOC para eventos de 2010/2011 |

O Camel Trophy Owners Club está a preparar os eventos de 2010/2011 e pede a ajuda de todos os que possam contribuir, para construir um stand único.
Para 2010/2011, pretendem ir mais além, (re)lembrando o Camel Trophy 1998 e comemorando a estreia do Freelander na neve e gelo da Tierra del Fuego.
Mas um projecto arrojado como este, obriga a um trabalho de equipa (típico do Camel Trophy). Como se pode ajudar? Através do fornecimento de peças para um Freelander! Não precisam de estar a funcionar ou nas melhores condições.
Se trocou peças avariadas/danificadas do seu Freelander, e agora as tem a ocupar espaço na garagem, esta é uma óptima oportunidade para se livrar delas, sabendo que vão ser bem usadas.

Dear all
We are building a project vehicle to display at the Land Rover shows here in the UK in 2010 and Europe in 2011. We did a similar project in 2008, when we built a replica Defender that appeared to be sunk into the ground. It toured the main shows and the headed for Europe with our Dutch contingent. This year we have something even more spectacular in mind.
This year, we are remembering the last Land Rover Camel Trophy in 1998. The Freelander made its debut in the ice and snow of Tierra del Fuego. Enough nostalgia, what do we need?
Well, John Daunter has donated a virtually entire Freelander to use as the basis and MJ Fews Land Rover will be spaying it sandglow for us. John Gravett has provided a roof rack and I'm sure that Tim and Nick are eyeing bits of my Camel with evil intent...
We will definitely need some more bits, some that are specifically Freelander, some not...

Old strop/rope/master link
Freelander front bumper (pre2001 not TD4 or V6)
Freelander driveshafts
Freelander propshafts
Freelander VCU

Crickey, you are thinking, there's no chance I can help you with that... BUT this is the important bit!! They do not have to be in good condition.... Broken VCU? Vibrating propshaft? Blowing exhaust? Damaged mirrors? Brilliant! Just what we need!
As it is for our club we can't offer payment, but hopefully we can get some unwanted bits off your hands. Plus your unwanted items will go on to be part of our traditionally eye-catching display.
